1- Can anyone apply for the scholarship?
Any current early childhood teacher, or administrator working in a licensed center may apply.
Applicants must have the support of the program director/owner. OR any licensed family provider or family provider assistants or teachers.
2-How long will it take to complete my degree?
T.E.A.C.H. Recipients are not traditional students. All work full time, and many have families and other responsibilities. This unique situation means recipients may take only 1-2 classes at a time. Completion of an associates degree will take 4-5 years.
3- Are classes available online/at night.
YES! Contact us to find out more information about when classes, labs and practicum are available at participating colleges and universities. Or please refer to the directory page and follow the links provided.
4- What is my cost to attend classes after the scholarship?
Recipients will be responsible to pay any application fees.
Recipients are responsible for 10% of the cost of tuition and books.
For example, Salt Lake Community College may be $55/class and average $10/book. Please contact us for information about other institutes of higher education or refer to the directory page.
Recipients are always 100% responsible for any non resident tuition costs, parking fees, note books, and other supplies.
